Anti Estrogens

Anti estrogens are a catagory of compounds that are used by bodybuilders to manage excessive estrogen during a steroid cycle. They can be calssified into two catagories.

1) Aromatase Inhibitors or (AIs), these compounds prevent the conversion of testosterone to estrogen by disabiling the aromtase enzyme.

2) Selective Estrogen Receptor Modulators or (S.E.R.M.s), these compounds occupy the estrogen receptor and block estrogen from attaching and exerting their effects in selective tissues.
